Buse AKYOLLU

Buse Akyollu completed her undergraduate studies in psychology and sociology at Istanbul Gelişim University. She graduated with honors from the same university's clinical psychology department, earning her specialist title with her thesis on childhood trauma and attachment styles. During this period, she also successfully graduated from the Istanbul University AUZEF Child Development Department. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she completed various training courses in psychodynamic psychotherapy, schema therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, family counseling, trauma psychology, and child and adolescent behavior. She also underwent her own therapy process using psychodynamic psychotherapy. She completed internships in various settings, including municipalities, hospitals, private clinics, and private teaching institutions. Her training and research on the psychodynamic psychotherapy school continues. For nine years, she has been accepting adolescent and adult clients through eclectic work, both in person and online. She also continues her work as a volunteer psychologist at APDEP (Disaster Psychosocial Support Association). Buse Akyollu has joined the Psycho Koza team and is accepting clients.
